God does some of His best work in the unexpected seasons. For instance when Mary was told that she would be the mother of Jesus. Was she expecting that one…not at all! Though what an amazing season that she was able to carry and mother the one who would come to save us all. Or what about Moses who was told that he would be the one to deliver the Israelite’s out of Egypt. I’m sure it wasn’t the first thing on his to do list. To this day thing’s haven’t changed and as humans we sometimes have expectations and plans of what life is going to look like and than it all gets turn upside down. Although, I am so thankful for a God who is in the midst of all things especially through this season that we are all facing. He is so FAITHFUL! Personally, these past few months have definitely come with a load of unexpectedness. Earlier this month I had faced something that I had thought I had overcome. At first I had felt ashamed but I was reminded that even in this life we still face trials, but what matters most is how we face them. When I was younger I struggled with depression and anxiety and I know that I am free of it , but I allowed it to creep back into my life. These past few weeks really gave me an understanding of what fear can really do when you forget who you are in Christ. It can be completely debilitating and cause you to lose all hope. I began to forget the vision that God placed on my heart and what more does the enemy want than to strip you of what God has called you to. I share this as it is very personal and to give insight that fear is not our portion. The enemy wants you to be in fear and doubt but Jesus came so that we can overcome the snares of the enemy. Today, I look back at what I went through and though it is still so recent I am excited to use my testimony to help set others free. I say all this because this season with COVID-19 has brought so much fear but God wants you to be at peace and know that He is your protector and that He is truly in the midst of it all. If at all you feel like you need prayer please don’t hesitate to contact me as I would love to pray with and for you!

All my love, Candice
